Product Description

(S) pre-cut parts for improvised mouth-nose protective masks made of fabric
(17,5 cm x 11 cm / 6,9 inch x 4,3 inch)

DIY-10-piece-pack

This is our smallest mouth-nose-mask, suitable for children and adults with a very small head-circumference.

We will prepare a pack of cut parts for you to make your own improvised protective masks from fabric. So you do not have to waste time to cut the individual parts time-consuming or to procure the material. So you can concentrate entirely on sewing.

The pack contains material for 10 pieces.

- Cotton fabric - 40 pieces

- Cord - 20x 90 cm

- Clip - 10x

The sewing time for a mask is approx. 13 minutes (for experienced sewers).

The mask has two layers and contains a pocket for an improvised filter. We recommend using filters made of suitable materials that are available to you. These filters do not protect against the virus, but prevent droplets from entering the mask. (Current videos on improvised protective masks from Asia recommend cellulose, paper handkerchiefs, folded kitchen towels and Hepa vacuum cleaner filters).

CAUTION: These filters do not prevent viruses from entering. If these improvised filters get wet, you should discard them. Put in new filters and then always wash and disinfect your hands.

The mask is made of cotton and can be sterilized at home. Before using for the first time, please wash (boil to 95 degrees), dry and iron.

The instructions for the manufacture of the improvised protective masks will shortly be published here on the Internet on this page.

The mask should preferably be changed at least twice a day. After 4 hours, the mask develops a microbiotic-sensitive environment in which bacteria and viruses can reproduce well. So change the mask more often so as not to harm yourself.
