This was the Golden Age of Roman Tlusty's small leather one man workshop and leather goods service. His cellar wasn't just a workshop, but a place where musicians, artists, and actors would gather to share their experiences and their time. Anyone who was anyone, that wanted something made of leather, came to Roman Tlusty's dark, little workshop. Tlusty's landlord became jealous of his popularity and decided to raise the rent, forcing Tlusty to move out and find another workshop.
